"Nice and Easy, Even if Your Marriage Doesn't Last Your Color Will"

Nice and Easy Even If Your Marriage Doesn't Last Your Color Will

from the series The Deceiver and The Deceived

The title of the wall sculpture "Nice and Easy, Even If your Marriage Doesn't Last Your Color Will" actually came from a short lived television commercial for Nice and Easy Hair Color by Clairol. The commercial was quickly removed from television, probably following the back-lash from its suggestion that a marriage would not last longer than the six to eight weeks that your hair color would.

Frame wall piece constructed from recycled tin containers, vintage steel doll houses, aluminum rivets, aluminum kitchen counter trim around the outside edge.

13.75" height x 18" width x 12.75" depth

In the photo below you can see the extensive details on the back.

The backs of all the wall sculptures are really interesting and special. The back is also stamped with the title, date, artist name, and hallmark.
